Team Henderson attended the 18th Annual Healthcare Design & Construction Symposium, hosted by Vanderbilt University’s School of Engineering, on August 7 and 8. The event was a great opportunity for designers, contractors, and owners to discuss current and future topics surrounding healthcare operations and construction.
This year’s gathering was centered on the theme of “SEE, now ACT (Access, Community, Technology),” highlighting the importance of balancing outcomes with solutions:
These are all factors that will help drive positive outcomes in the community and we believe are a key influence in healthcare design, whether that is energy efficient measures to protect the environment within the surrounding community or implementing new physical technologies to advance communication and connectivity with all community members. Team Henderson returned from the event energized to ACT as we continue to help build a better world.
