If peers had to describe Scott in one word, adaptable would be a strong favorite. Inspired to pursue a profession in the building industry by his father’s lifelong career in construction, Scott’s professional journey began unconventionally in boat building before he made the switch to architecture and eventually found his life’s calling in engineering. Now having spent three decades in plumbing design, fire and life safety, and project management, his breadth of knowledge and experience comes in handy in leading his team to deliver exceptional projects.
Scott is enthusiastic about building strong relationships with clients and colleagues alike as he believes genuine connections lead to better collaboration and cohesion. A former technical vice president of his local chapter of the American Society of Plumbing Engineers, he likewise is passionate about continually improving how buildings are designed and he brings that drive to Team Henderson day in and day out. This busy bee also makes time for life’s simple pleasures, whether it’s traveling with his wife or enjoying days out on their farm hunting, fishing, horseback and ATV riding, and enjoying the country life.
