Henderson Earns KC STEM Leader Award

KC STEM Fest

Henderson Engineers is the recipient of the 2024 KC STEM Leader Award presented at the annual KC STEM Fest, an event that promotes Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM)-focused education. The accolade was granted in recognition of Henderson’s contributions to STEM education within the Kansas City region, particularly through its REAL Bright Futures program.

As part of the Bright Futures initiative, Henderson employees host interactive events at underserved schools and kids-focused institutions like the The Regnier Family Wonderscope Children’s Museum of Kansas City to introduce young people to engineering. Henderson is also the founder of the annual Junior Engineer Day, a program that brings together K-12 students from across the KC metro to learn about STEM through presentations and hands-on activities.
