When Janelle Whisler joined Henderson Engineers, her background in teaching and career readiness programming prepared her as the organization’s first dedicated learning & development hire. Since then, she’s been an integral part of Henderson’s ever-increasing focus on creating a more robust and intentional employee experience. Janelle now leads a team of four that includes oversight of learning & development, internal communications, employee engagement, and diversity, equity, & inclusion. Together, this team works to elevate the employee experience at every turn.
Her team is dedicated to creating and providing resources, training, and support to help equip the rest of Team Henderson to be engaged and successful in their work. When she logs on each day, Janelle hopes to contribute to an organization that sees engagement as much more than social connection, but also supports employees in their personal and professional growth as well as drives them to success.
