Tina Swartz joined Henderson Engineers during an exciting period of transformation, as the firm became an employee-owned company through the establishment of an ESOP and restructured into specialized sectors. Embracing the changes, Tina quickly advanced to compensation and benefits director, where she oversees initiatives that align with business objectives, market research, and best practices, allowing Tina to advocate for employee physical and financial well-being while helping the firm develop policies that foster an inclusive and inspiring culture. As a certified senior professional in human resources (SPHR), Tina brings valuable knowledge and insight to the team, while actively engaging in the society for human resources management (SHRM) and several local human resources organizations. Her time in the Marine Corps also strengthened her leadership skills, where she earned several awards related to job performance and leadership.
Tina’s drive extends beyond her role, as she is passionate about outdoor activities such as running, hiking, and playing softball, which she recently picked up again. She loves spending time with her family, going to the beach, reading, and working on DIY home improvement projects, bringing the same enthusiasm to her personal life as she does to her work.
