For more than a decade, CJ Pfeiffer, has demonstrated teamwork and dedication through his work at Henderson Engineers. CJ’s story at Henderson started with him being at the right place at the right time. Initially hired on as a contractor to transform the PR-4 building in Lenexa, he worked on everything from painting to carpet installation and ceiling grid work. As we continued to evolve as a company, so has CJ in his career, transitioning to a full-time position as the facilities manager for the PR-5 building where Henderson Engineers Inc. is now located. His hard work and leadership have led him to his new role as facilities director.
CJ’s leadership and dedication at Henderson have not only helped the company grow, but also earned him the 2021 Henderson Living the Purpose award for exemplifying service to his team, clients, and community. He admits his greatest challenge has been keeping up with the pace and growth of the company, but with the support from his team, he’s been able to navigate through every expansion and change. He is the first to recognize that his success comes from working with his team and is grateful to be able to work with the same individuals for as many years, something not many people get to do. When he’s not managing facilities, CJ actively volunteers at his local church as part of the finance council and maintenance committee. He also enjoys staying active through outdoor projects and spending time with his wife.
