From childhood blanket forts to a career in architecture, Tyler Kraus has always had a knack for building—whether with Legos, 3D puzzles, or real-world structures. His journey with Henderson Engineers started with a summer internship while studying at Kansas State University. During his internship he was drawn to the firm’s commitment to teaching and mentorship, leading to a job offer after graduation. It’s safe to say he was “drafted” by Henderson and has been a part of the successful team ever since.
Now as a practice director for the grocery and distribution sector, Tyler oversees teams and programs that deliver quality service and innovative solutions to clients nationwide. Along the way he’s also helped grow two grocery programs to deliver quality service. While he’s no longer building forts, he’s still focused on creating a strong foundation—this time for his teams, projects, and clients. When he’s not in the office, he enjoys spending time with his family, exercising, and traveling.
