From the moment you meet Teresa Huser, her dedication and passion for her role as retail electrical technical director shines through. While she was initially leaning toward a career in teaching, she’s glad to be able to combine both education and engineering in her position at Henderson Engineers. Teresa’s journey to engineering started when she stopped by an engineering open house at Kansas State University, where her brother was attending. During her visit, she became intrigued by the hidden complexities behind designing spaces and decided to take a chance on engineering.
In her current role, Teresa is responsible for reviewing quality control, mentoring young designers, and collaborating closely with the operations team, as well as the retail mechanical technical directors, to ensure excellence across all projects. She even had the unique opportunity to help establish Henderson’s Houston office. However, what truly sets Teresa apart is her commitment to mentorship. She finds immense fulfillment in guiding younger designers to become great engineers. When she’s not leading projects or mentoring, Teresa enjoys spending time with her two Italian Greyhounds or her family. She also enjoys gaming or reading a book after work.
