Grocery & Distribution Grocery Practice Director
Brett Crask’s career in engineering was inspired by a simple goal: to improve the construction plans his father often critiqued at their kitchen table when he would come home from work. As practice director at Henderson Engineers, Brett leads the grocery and distribution sector with the same determination to elevate industry standards. He started his career at Henderson right after college, working as a designer for Walmart remodels before working his way up to lead commercial grocery projects. He now focuses on guiding and mentoring his team, while ensuring their work consistently exceeds client expectations.

Growing up in a small Southeast Kansas town, his career has taken him from his quiet beginnings to adjusting to life in larger cities, which has helped him broaden his perspectives and strengthen his skills. One of his proudest achievements is seeing how his career plans have aligned with goals he outlined in 2019—something he encourages others to do as they navigate their own careers, always keeping the big picture in mind. When he’s not working, he stays busy coaching baseball, basketball, or football with his kids, tackling woodworking projects, cooking, and taking on home improvement projects—though he draws the line at singing or dancing.
